About Us

WhichOilSupplier was created by two friends, Mark and Chris. We both live in rural locations and rely heavily on kerosene to heat our boilers and Agas and keep our children nice and cosy.

Frustrated by having to constantly ring around suppliers for the best oil price (which can vary significantly) we searched the web for an independent heating oil comparison site, without success. We therefore decided to create an online tool that our friends and others could use. We hope you like it and we welcome feedback. Here at WhichOilSupplier we are all passionate about looking after this planet and want to do our bit to encourage others to think green.

In 2010 we set up the WhichOilSupplier Tree Project to offer an easy way for home heating oil users to offset their carbon emissions.

You will have the option at the point of ordering to choose how many trees you would like to be planted. (To give you an idea, you would need to plant 3 trees to completely offset the CO2 from 1,000 litres).

We are extremely passionate about this project, so much so that for every tree you purchase we will match it and pay for another one to be planted. Each tree costs £9.95. We hope you will see the benefit of this project and will show your support next time you order via our site.
